Women physicians, we want to hear from you! Doximity is hosting our third annual writing contest for women in medicine and we are looking for submissions about how you’re a superhero in a white coat.
What It Is
When has your superpower helped you be a better doctor? Tell us about a time when your powers led to a better patient outcome, or when you saved the day in the clinic.
We want to celebrate your unique talents and gifts, however that “girl power” manifests. We don’t often stop to celebrate our accomplishments and recognize our worth. There’s no better time than the present to start.
What You Win
Winners and select submissions will also receive an original illustration by Doximity's Illustration Team to accompany their piece when published. The winner will also receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
Submission Details
Email your submission to opmed@doximity.com and follow these rules:
- The subject line of the email should be: Women In Medicine Essay Contest
- Include the link to your Doximity profile and a one to two sentence bio.
- Please limit your piece to 600–1,000 words. Before submitting a piece, please ensure your photo is uploaded to your Doximity profile.
- If you’d like to remain anonymous, please let us know in your email. Please note that anonymity is only provided in select cases.
The deadline to enter is August 18 at 11:59 PT.
