Shafi S. Rana, MD, MBA, is a board-certified family medicine physician with a strong foundation in both clinical care and health care management. He combines medical expertise with business acumen to advance patient outcomes, optimize health care operations, and foster innovation in the field. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rana brings a background in finance and entrepreneurship, actively exploring ventures that bridge medicine, technology, and business to create scalable health care solutions. His professional interests include obesity medicine, health care leadership, and AI/tech in health care with a focus on building sustainable systems that improve access and quality of care. He is a 2025–2026 Doximity Op-Med Fellow.
