Dr. Rosenbaum was chair of rheumatology at a university hospital for more than 20 years. He is the author of nearly 700 peer reviewed papers or book chapters mostly on ocular inflammatory diseases, but he has also authored an illustrated children's book (Eleanor and Geraldine) and published essays including ones in the The New Yorker online, JAMA, New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, Arthritis & Rheumatology, Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, and Science.
