At the outset of the event, the UCAOA decided to rebrand itself to become the Urgent Care Association (UCA) in order to expand the scope of its offerings to include new providers and technologies, according to a news release.
The new tagline for UCA is “gateway to better,” which implies its goal to offer education, support and additional resources to members that will help them succeed in a consumer-driven healthcare industry.
