Thorsten Seyler, MD, PhD, is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery, serving patients at Duke University and the Durham VA as an adult reconstruction surgeon. As the former president of the Musculoskeletal Infection Society, he runs a lab focusing on periprosthetic joint infections and supports medical students as an academic mentor.
