Shruti Mutalik, MD, is a consultation liaison and transplant psychiatrist and medical educator at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her professional interests include living donors, understanding altruism, organ transplant, military psychiatry, psychotherapy, medical education, residency and fellowship education, literature, and ethics. Her personal interests include singing and songwriting, and writing creative fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. She sings, performs and records with her band Sonic Animals.
