Lawrence Mieczkowski, MD, graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1982 then completed an internal medicine residency in 1985 from what is now the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Mercy. He then spent two years in a research role at the University of Cincinnati Lipid Research Division and moved to Dayton, Ohio, in 1987. Over the decades until his retirement in 2018, Dr. Mieczkowski saw patients with cardiometabolic disorders and was a sought-after speaker across the country.
