Gwendolyn Williams, MD, FACP, SFHM, is a hospital medicine physician, physician leader, speaker, and writer whose work explores leadership, organizational culture, moral courage, and the systems shaping the physician and clinician experience. She serves as president of the Society of Hospital Medicine Mid-Atlantic Virginia Chapter and is an assistant professor of medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University.
