Ah, Match Day — one of the happiest moments for doctors-in-training!
The years leading up to the event, on the other hand, can be quite stressful. We are calling on all fourth-year MD and DO students to offer their best advice on how to succeed in medical school and on their journey to Match Day.
Prompt
Looking back at your experiences over the past few years, what crucial piece(s) of advice would you give others on the same path?
Reflect on the anticipation, excitement, and uncertainty that you have been experiencing leading up to Match Day. Do your expectations line up with your experience? Looking back at your personal statement, how have you changed since being a pre-med? What words of wisdom were passed down to you? What do you wish you knew, but learned the hard way?
The Prize
One winner will receive an Intern Survival Kit, complete with the necessities to survive your first year of residency and an Amazon gift card!
The Details
