Summary of app features: This app helps patients to track migraines by recording triggers, symptoms, and medications. Using this personalized data, the app produces a summary report for users that can be sent to their health care providers. Migraine Buddy is also unique because it tracks the impact of weather and sleep on migraine symptoms.

This app is useful for: patients who experience frequent or chronic migraines.

Good User Review: “...I've been using this app for over a year now and I depend on it completely. Very useful when seeing my neurologist because all my migraines are recorded. There are features to help track likely triggers, side migraines hurts most, gives you top symptoms, medications, percentages used vs effectiveness. It is a lot of information to help me talk to my doctor and also to understand effects of weather or food on my migraines ....” — Zara Abdulla on Google Play

Limitations: Currently, the app does not directly track the impact of diet on migraines, so some potential triggers are missed.

Alternatives: There are many other migraine tracking apps available, such as Migraine Coach and imigraine. For patients looking to track their symptoms beyond migraines, an app like Symple would be more useful.

Download: Migraine Buddy is free on the App Store or on Google Play.
