He originated the Congress of Clinical Rheumatology, second largest rheum meeting in the U.S. Past Pres. of the AL Soc. for the Rheum. Dis. & now Exec. Dir. In 2021, the American College of Rheumatology gave him the Master designation, the highest honor awarded by the college.
