FDA Approves New Fillers

Another thing that was presented hot topics with the FDA approvals of some new fillers, specifically Restylane Refine and Define. These fillers are new and the one unique property about them is that they’re more flexible, so when we inject them into the face in areas of movement, for instance, smile lines, they’re going to move more naturally. Studies have shown that the results come last 6 to 9 months, maybe a little bit longer. Refine and define are actually very similar they’re hyaluronic acid, which are cross-linked very similar to the Restylane product itself.
