Dr. Bennet Omalu on Living with Depression and CTE Fame

Dr. Bennet Omalu, neuropathologist, discovered Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy in former NFL player Mike Webster, and published a paper about the “epidemic” of brain damage connected with repeated blows to the head from sports.

Doximity got a chance to sit down the Dr. Omalu and talk about his research on CTE, as well as his life living with depression, and what he has to say about the “humanity” of science.
