Women physicians, we want to hear from you! Doximity is hosting a writing contest and we are looking for submissions about your most celebrated victories.
What It Is
We are looking for stories about a “win” in your career. Is it a time you stood up for yourself or a fellow physician, or perhaps an instance in which you navigated sexism or discrimination in medicine? A time you beat impostor syndrome or figured out a difficult diagnosis? Maybe you’d like to write about the ways you promote equity among your peers and inspire the next generation, or share the lessons learned from a time you successfully negotiated a salary or contract. We want to celebrate your large — and small — victories in medicine, whatever that means to you.
What You Win
Winners and select submissions will also receive an original illustration by Doximity's Op-Med to accompany their piece when published. The winner will also receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
