Tidbit about the show: From media moguls to activists, DOTB looks into the minds of innovative doctors who are pushing the envelope beyond medicine. It was launched in April 2016 and was recently named a “Top 100 Podcast in Careers” on Apple Podcasts.

About the host: Nii-Daako Darko, DO, MBA, FACS is a general surgeon based in Pennsylvania. As a kid, he always wanted to have an impact on people or be larger than life, but as a doctor, he felt he was not in complete control of his life and stuck in a box. Meanwhile, he saw other doctors around him doing incredible humanitarian work in war-torn places around the world; others running their own businesses; and still others on TV. That all inspired him to strive for more outside of medicine and launch DOTB.
