Doxmity Asks: Why Did You Choose Primary Care?

Calling all primary care physicians! Doximity is now accepting submissions for its Primary Care Essay contest. If you’re a resident, fellow, or attending, we want to hear about what led you to choose a career in primary care. Perhaps it was an experience in your past, a story from training, or an influential mentor. Maybe it was all of the above. Regardless, we want to hear your unique story (details below).

The Prize

The winner of the Primary Care Essay Contest will receive a Tech Care Package, fully loaded with gadgets and an Amazon gift card to use in clinic (and out of clinic).

Details

We will be taking submissions until midnight PST on April 20th, 2018. Email yours to opmed@doximity.com with the subject line: “Primary Care Essay Contest.” Please limit your piece to 750–1,000 words. Before submitting a piece, ensure your photo is uploaded to your Doximity profile.
